Aten Morin Jr. is a Phoenix-based storyteller and communications strategist who turns big ideas into moments people actually care about. His work lives at the intersection of culture, politics, and digital storytelling, where timing matters, tone is everything, and stories are shaped by how people really live.

He currently leads marketing and communications at Just Schools, shaping messaging that centers LGBTQ+ students and educators while keeping the focus on inclusive, safe schools. Before that, Aten ran digital and communications strategy at Stand for Children Arizona, translating education policy into campaigns that felt human, accessible, and actually worth stopping the scroll for.

Before nonprofit life, Aten came up through the agency world at O.H. Partners, working on PR and brand campaigns for clients across hospitality, lifestyle, and consumer spaces, including Four Peaks Brewing Company, the Arizona Lottery, and Gila River Resorts & Casinos. Across both brand and mission-driven work, the approach stays the same: lead with people. What they feel. What they care about. What actually moves them.

He’s also supported national political communications, including influencer outreach connected to Kamala Harris’s campaign, helping bridge the gap between politics and the online communities that shape culture.

Aten lives in the in-between. Between generations. Between culture and politics. Between the group chat and the headline. When he’s not working, he’s chasing good light, tracking whatever the internet is obsessed with, hyping something local, or taking an Arizona drive just to feel something and see what shows up.
